Since the legs have a limited range of motion, we’ll act like poets, walking on the ground with heads in the cloud. Every city can be explored in myriad ways, but one thing we dislike – being lost. Let’s get ‘Happily Lost’. Private Zagreb City Walk Tour – your way!
PROGRAM: Walking in Zagreb downtown area, we’ll tell you the story about 2 old medieval towns (Gradec & Kaptol aka Upper Town). We’ll explain how they were merged into one city – Zagreb. And its slow transformation to cosmopolitan European metropolis.
Along the way, we will definitely stop at ‘Dolac’ farmers’ market – ‘Big belly of Zagreb’, checking ‘Kumica’ stand. (Kumica = local hard-working farm woman). You’ll see following landmarks: Main square, Cathedral, Dolac farmer’s market, 16.cent defensive wall, Stone Gate, St.Mark’s church and square, Cannon tower – Lotrščak.
