Sometimes ‘urban bee hive’, asphalt, heavy traffic cause a strong desire to go on a day trip. The surroundings of Zagreb (within 1 hour drive) offers many hideaways – small towns, castles, farms, hiking trails, caves… one of this small jewels is – Samobor Town
Samobor is a small, charming town, often called – ‘Little Venice’ (with miniature bridges over river and houses built over river shores). From their balconies locals can jump into the river, if they want to. Main square has very impressive architecture from 18-19th century. We’ll explore it on foot.
Local gastronomy is small jewel in the crown. When you combine all these elements, Samobor town is perfect destination for a day trip from Zagreb.
Optional: If you’re wine lover, please book wine-tasting, and we would visit Plesivica Hills wine region and do wine-tasting in a small family owned boutique winery (meet the wine-maker). Wine-tasting (4 wines) is paired with snacks.
